The grimoire.

Everything Vamp does, on-chain and off. Fee numbers below are read live from the LaunchLab configs.

Overview

Vamp is a Solana launchpad for copies. Paste the contract address of any existing SPL or Token-2022 token and Vamp launches a vamped version of it on Raydium LaunchLab: same ticker, the name with “Vamped” on the end, a blood-soaked avatar, and a description that points back at the original. Every vamp is its own token with its own bonding curve — you can vamp the same token as many times as you like.

The wallet that launches a vamp is its creator (“dev”) and earns a share of every trade, which it can claim as the original token.

Launching a vamp

  1. Paste a CA. We check it is a real mint (SPL Token or Token-2022) and read its metadata through Helius DAS, falling back to the on-chain Metaplex / Token-2022 metadata. Tokens without a name, ticker or image can't be vamped.
  2. Preview. Name becomes {first 25 chars of name} Vamped (32-byte limit), ticker stays the same (trimmed if over 10 bytes), the description becomes vamped {OG CA} followed by the original description, socials are kept and a vampedFrom field is added. The image is cropped to 512×512 (first frame of GIFs), saturated, tinted red and covered in a random blood drip.
  3. Vamp it. Image and metadata are pinned to IPFS, a vanity mint key is reserved for you, and the server builds the LaunchLab create transaction, signed only by that mint key.
  4. Sign. Your wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack…) signs and sends it. Once it confirms on-chain the vamp appears in the Vamps list and the feed.
Cost & dev buy. You pay the Solana rent and network fees for the mint, its metadata and the pool — a few hundredths of a SOL. You can add a dev buy: it is bundled into the launch transaction, so you are the very first buyer and nobody can get in before you. The page shows how many tokens (and what % of supply) it gets before you sign.

The vamp CA

Every vamp mint address ends in vamp. They come from a pool of pre-generated vanity keypairs held encrypted on our server; one is reserved per launch and released again if the launch never lands. If a token claims to be a vamp and its CA doesn't end in vamp, it isn't one.

Trading & where it shows

A new vamp trades on a LaunchLab bonding curve quoted in SOL: 1,000,000,000 tokens, about 79% sold on the curve, which completes after raising 85 SOL. Then liquidity migrates to a Raydium CPMM pool.

  • Right here — every token page has a Buy / Sell panel: on the curve it trades LaunchLab directly, after migration it routes through Jupiter. You see what you get and the minimum (slippage 1–10%) before you sign.
  • Raydium LaunchLab — the same curve on Raydium's own site.
  • Axiom — every vamp has an Axiom link (token page and feed); Axiom lists LaunchLab markets.
  • DexScreener — indexes the pool after migration; until then the token page draws the curve chart from Raydium's own price history.

Fees

Every buy and sell on the bonding curve pays a trading fee, split three ways:

Goes toRateNotes
Creator (dev)—Accrues in your LaunchLab creator vault. Claim any time.
Vamp platform—Vamp's LaunchLab platform config.
Raydium protocol—LaunchLab's own fee.
Total per trade—

After migration to CPMM the creator keeps earning CPMM creator fees on the pool.

Claiming as the original

On My vamps, Claim as {OG} builds one transaction that claims your creator fees in SOL and swaps them through Jupiter straight into the token you vamped. You see the expected amount, the minimum and the price impact before you sign.

  • Max slippage 3%, max price impact 15%.
  • If the original has no route (dead or rugged), or the impact is too high, the claim is paid in SOL instead and the reason is shown before you sign.
  • Token-2022 originals with a transfer fee: you see the amount you'll receive after that fee.
  • LaunchLab keeps one creator vault per wallet (shared by all your LaunchLab tokens), so a claim collects the whole balance at once.

Activity feed

The Feed shows, live:

  • Launched — which wallet vamped which token, linked to the vamp, Axiom and the transaction.
  • Fees ready — a dev's creator vault has grown by at least 0.01 SOL since the last notice; the amount shown is what they can claim now.
  • Claimed — a dev claimed, and whether it was fed into the original token or taken as SOL.

Keys, safety & risks

  • Non-custodial. Your wallet signs every launch and claim. The server never sees your private key; it only holds the vanity mint keys and signs with one of them once, for the mint it creates.
  • A vamp is not the original. It shares a ticker and a face, nothing else: no relationship to the original team, no claim on its treasury.
  • Memecoins are volatile. Most go to zero. Never put in more than you can lose.
